David Gregory Mackinnon was born on August 28, 1992 at 4:48 pm to David Wayne MacKinnon and Michelle Denise MacKinnon ( Worthington ). David weighed only 5 pounds and 11 ounces, a tiny peanut who was cuter than anything I had ever seen in my whole life.

Much of our family was present at the hospital awaiting David's arrival. He was the first child, grandchild and nephew and so even before he was born he was loved, cherished and adored and this was even more evident after his arrival. David, as beautiful as he was, he was also very ill...

    Our mission will be accomplished by reaching out to the community and providing funds to those organizations that will honour his legacy for years to come by creating opportunities to those that hope to have them so that they may make great use of them.

  • Michelle MacKinnon, David's mother, will be training and running the Hamilton "30K Around the Bay" on March 25th. Below are her comments on the race and her motivation for participating.

  • The first annual David Gregory MacKinnon charity golf tournament will be held at Thundering Waters.

  • Kicks for Kids 4th Annual Kick-A-Thon will be held on Saturday, October 6th, 2012. Last year's event raised close to $10,000.00 for The David Gregory MacKinnon Memorial Foundation! Great job everyone and with almost 100 participants doing 5000 kicks each that is around 500,000 kicks! Thank you all for your support and generosity.
